Frustrated!!!

So, I haven't written much about what has gone on with me, but I will get to that-GAH!!!

I am just frustrated that because I have had depression and mental health issues in the past, every time I call the damn native clinic, be it the eye doctor or I see one of their providers, they get this condescending tone, "Have you thought about talking to behavioral health?"

Uhhhh Please....

I am doing quite well emotionally considering everything that has gone on, and I don't feel the need for mental health interventions. If I did, I would go. Plain and simple, have gone before when needed and that was not something I wouldn't do-if I needed to. But right now, I do not.

I feel very frustrated. I have been dealing with debilitating pain since February--9 whole months. I have not had adequate pain relief. I understand that the medication cannot take all the pain, but I honestly need some relief. Just a bit... Wouldn't anyone be frustrated over that???? I think I'd love to have one of them go through this--and tell them "OH--gee---have you considered going to mental health? Now take an Alleve and go away"

I don't think they have a DSM-IV code for frustration...

If we do not have one, guess that's just another one I'll find in Seattle next flight down... *ugh*

I have been miserable for NINE long months, and it seems to be mostly disregarded. Anger does provide pretty good fuel... and yes they seem to not care about what is causing us to be depressed, is just something that they could address if they chose to.

I am in Alaska. Seattle works for me since I have my mother-in-law and my husband's family down there. Plus some of my good friends.
